Dr. Brooks graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology

He earned his medical degree from the USC School of Medicine and went on to complete his internship and orthopedic surgical training at USC.

Dr. Brooks completed a fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at the Hughston Sports Medicine Clinic in Georgia.

Dr. Brooks has published several original research articles and is the author and coauthor of over 10 book chapters in the fields of sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Brooks has served as a design consultant to several major device companies for prosthetic joint replacement of the knee and shoulder. He has lectured at many national meetings on his fields of interest.
