First created in 1995, the SCOI website was one of the first orthopedic sites on the Internet. The site was quickly recognized for it's artistic rendering of anatomy and orthopedic procedures by such publications as WIRED, the Los Angeles Times, Medical Economics magazine, and the Lycos book, The Best of the Net Volume 2.
