Austin was born and raised in Southern California and joined the Southern California Orthopedic Institute team directly after graduating in 2020.

In 2010, Austin suffered a complete ACL rupture as the result of a dirt biking accident. Austin’s knee was surgically reconstructed at Southern California Orthopedic Institute and needed to undergo physical therapy to recover. Austin learned first-hand the major impact physical therapy could have on a patient’s life. Consequently, he decided to pursue a career in physical therapy so he could contribute to others’ healing.

In Austin’s spare time, he enjoys resistance training and living a healthy lifestyle. Austin also loves sports, traveling, hiking, eating, collecting sneakers, and all things automotive.

Austin is available to see patients at the Center for Rehabilitation Medicine – Van Nuys office.
