Dimitriy G. Kondrashov, MD

Board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained spine specialist Dr. Dimitriy Kondrashov provides experienced care for complex spinal disorders. He joined Southern California Orthopedic Institute in 2024 with over 20 years of experience in orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Kondrashov earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. Following his graduation, Dr. Kondrashov pursued an orthopedic surgery residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New Hyde Park, New York. He then completed his orthopedic spine surgery fellowship through the Stanford-San Francisco combined program at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto and St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco. 

Dedicated to advancing spine care, Dr. Kondrashov is actively involved in multiple academic and collegial spine associations. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Cervical Spine Research Society, North American Spine Society, and Scoliosis Research Society. As a testament to Dr. Kondrashov’s commitment to furthering spine care, he has more than 40 peer-reviewed research publications in spine surgery and spine biomechanics.
