Lesley was born in Visalia, California and attended Exeter Union High School. She went on to earn a Bachelors of Science degree, with a major in Health Science from Saint Mary's College of California. She then attended Touro University of California and received a dual masters in Physician Assistant Studies and Public Health.
After graduating, she started her career in Bakersfield California at Kern Medical Center, where she served the Orthopedic and Emergency Departments. After two years she moved on to work with Mark Schamblin, MD at Southern California Orthopedic Institute. Together their focus is on treating shoulder, knee and acute fracture injuries. As a Physician Assistant, Lesley assists Dr. Schamblin in performing clinical exams, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies, and making diagnoses and treatment plans. Their goal is to manage your condition with either conservative care or surgical intervention in order to get you back to your favorite activities.
