Irina has been a practicing physical therapist for eleven years and has been with Southern California Orthopedic Institute for six. In her early years as a therapist, Irina worked in in-patient settings but found her passion in outpatient orthopedics.

Irina was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy by her grandmother, who suffered from a stroke. In the Soviet Union, there was minimal patient education and accommodation; as a result, Irina had to assist her grandmother daily. Helping people heal and return to their normal life became a passion of Irina’s because it has always been an integral part of her life. To her, choosing a career in physical therapy was a no-brainer.

In Irina’s spare time, she spends time with her three children and does outdoor activities with them like hiking, going to the beach, and gardening.

Irina is available to see patients at the Center for Rehabilitation Medicine – Valencia office.
