Fellowship-Trained Pain Management Medicine
A Los Angeles native, Dr. David Wahba attended the University of California, Los Angeles, for his bachelor of science degree in physiological science. He graduated with magna cum laude honors and was awarded multiple academic scholarships. Dr. Wahba earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. While in Chicago, he then completed his surgical internship at Rush University Medical Center and his orthopedic internship at Cook County Hospital.
At Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Wahba also completed his residency training in anesthesiology, and his desire to broaden his knowledge for pain management prompted him to complete additional specialty training through a fellowship in pain management medicine.
Dr. Wahba is dedicated to returning patients to their active lifestyles. His goal is to get patients to take back charge of their lives and treat them with conservative and minimally invasive procedures whenever possible to achieve such results. One of Dr. Wahba’s primary objectives is to know each patient individually, including his or her unique lifestyle and needs, which allows him to formulate a plan that is specific and targeted to each patient's goals.
Dr. Wahba is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is available to see patients in Bakersfield and Valencia.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Wahba enjoys reading suspense novels, playing and watching soccer games, especially the UEFA championship, and spending time with his family.
