Richard Ferkel, MD Repairs Klay Thompsons' Torn Achilles Tendon
Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson underwent successful surgery with our very own Dr. Richard Ferkel to repair his torn right Achilles tendon. Dr. Ferkel's name is one the Warriors undoubtedly remember as he operated on Steph Curry's oft-injured right ankle following the 2011-12 season.
The Warriors announced that the operation was "considered a success," but Thompson is going to miss the entirety of this season.
