Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Technology
With specialized training and extensive experience using Stryker’s innovative Mako robotic-arm technology, Dr. Harpreet Bawa has completed over 1,000 total joint replacements using the system to date. The Mako robotic-arm system creates a 3D model of the hip or knee joint which is then used to create a patient-specific pre-operative plan. Then during surgery, the robotic-arm assists with execution of that plan while protecting vital structures and minimizing soft-tissue injury.
