Dr. Ferkel Travels to New York for NBA Player's Surgery

Richard D. Ferkel, M.D., orthopedic surgeon at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI), flew to New York this week to participate in Joel Embiid's surgery on his navicular bone. Embiid is the center for the Philadelphia 76ers and is projected to miss the entire 2015-16 season as he heals.
